By Cheryl Richardson
Cheryl Richardson, the author of the No. 1 New York Times bestseller "Take Time for Your Life", has done it again with this wise series of pieces presented as weekly chapters to focus upon throughout the year. Or all at once, if you wish.
Sub-titled "52 Practical and Inspiring Ways to Improve Your Life One Week at a Time", issues like focusing, fitness, meeting challenges and how to attain grace are all discussed with her usual clarity.
One of the important aspects about this book is the fact that Cheryl at no time 'speaks down' to her audience. You get the feeling she is as aware of the need to follow her own advice as she is of it's importance to the reader.
I for one could identify with the chapter called "Give Your Brain a Vacation". My tendency to keep going when deep down inside I know I should be taking a break hit home for me and was extremely helpful.
Definitely a book to keep by your bedside. It's seems one can sleep easier after a chapter of Cheryl's wisdom.
And wake up fresher the next day.
